Located in the heart of the Douro demarcated wine region this Pousada makes an excellent base for exploring and visiting the various vineyards. Situated on the road from Mesão Frio to Régua in the Transmontana region near Vila Real, the Pousada enjoys a breathtaking view over the River Douro. This 18th century Manor House has an estate of 27-hectares and it offers guests the opportunity to sample the reality of local vineyard life whilst sampling the qualities of its own Port. There are twenty one rooms and eight suites supported by a restaurant and bar. For the convenience of guest there is a swimming pool in the grounds.
